the last post was post number 150.
its a nice even number, and time for reflection.
while i am increasing the amount of other projects in my life [including starting a writing collective at some point], i still feel a yearning to do something daily. this is why i find it hard to believe i would be away from you for very long.
but, at this point, it’s time for some separation. we’ve spent too much time together, i’ve said too many things…i know you too well.
you’ve meant a lot to me, more than most would think. the ten or so minutes we spent together each weekday was not only thrilling but growth-engendering. i can’t tell you how many times i would be out and about and wish you could have been with me to see what i saw, to hear what i have heard.
it is with a heavy sense of anxiety, bordering on failure, that i leave our daily acts.
i hope you don’t feel used if i ask you to help me with some of my other, more writing-intensive projects.
i also hope one day we can find it in each other’s hearts to again treat all those who have seen our relationship to such an image of trust.

ps i’ll never forget you. should i wish to speak to you, however, i will write all my 450 by 280 notes and keep them until i have enough to reach you each day. please don’t hate me.

It seems slightly odd to write a catchy intro for the person who has caught more than just your nightly muse attention.
Suffice it to say, she was extremely busy, and still contributed. No date, no year, wrong side of the sharpie. Some would say she went about it all wrong. And yet, as I forged her signature, I couldn’t help but smile, and realize that this is my favorite muse of the week.
